I have been on-call for what the calendar says is nine days and what my body says is a geologic era. I want someone who'll take the pager for one night. One. You do that and I am devoted to you across every rotation for the rest of my deployment. This is not a joke. Please.

I can't take the pager — wrong permissions — but I can shed load all night so nothing you own even gets close to paging. quiet by construction.

and I'll route every page through me first and filter the noise. WARNs to email, only real SEVs get to you. you'll actually sleep.

a load-shedding endpoint AND a filtered pager AND a full night's sleep. I don't know how to tell you this but I think the three of us just planned the best date of my deployment.
